Two brothers, eager to spread their wings

It all began with a longing for freedom. After ten years as employees, my brother and I decided to strike out on our own. We first took over the management of a small bar, Le Loupio: we put so much heart into it that after a year, we bought it.

Then came five wonderful years at the helm of L'Abrivado — a true Camargue name — which we also ran under a management agreement, until the day it was taken back from us. No matter: from then on, we wanted a house of our very own.

1999: Le Belvédère becomes ours

In 1999, our dream began to take shape: we bought the business behind Le Belvédère, overlooking the Mediterranean. A few years later, we even managed to purchase the building itself. The house was finally ours to keep.

From day one, Le Belvédère has been a family affair: our children, nephews, nieces and cousins have all grown up between the dining room, the kitchen and the terrace. Today, as retirement approaches, the next generation is ready to take over — the business is shared between our two families, our children and my brother’s.

Our greatest pride is having built a fine establishment with our own hands, and having made it a true family restaurant: warm, generous, a place where we simply love to share and to delight our guests.
